Thickness is just right, knees do not hurt! Even if ur nails are long and scratch, it doesn’t make a dent on the mat! And it easy to clean! A bit heavy to lug around but when it comes to cushiony vs weight, cushion and comfort are more important since we need the mat for asanas. Love this mat - one of the best yoga mats thus far!
